Report from the app
Tap Report on the crew report and choose a reason. Once submitted successfully, the post is hidden from the crew pending review. Tap Block to hide that member's reports from your own feed.
For a reply or urgent follow-up, choose Email moderation in the confirmation and send the prepared email. This includes the report reference; sending an in-app report alone does not send an email.
Email a report
Use the form below or email us, including for profile or invitation concerns. You do not need a Local Break account. Include the concern, a reply address, and a report reference or the break name, poster, and approximate date and time. Do not send passwords, sign-in links, private invitations, or copies of intimate images.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or local authorities.
Intimate image removal
We prohibit intimate photos or videos shared without the depicted person's consent, including manipulated or synthetic depictions. The person depicted, or someone authorized to act for them, may request removal by emailing moderation@localbreak.app with Urgent intimate-image removal.
Include:
- Your name and electronic signature, or those of the authorized representative submitting the request.
- Information sufficient to identify and locate the image or video in Local Break. A report reference is helpful, but not required if you can otherwise identify it.
- A brief statement of your good-faith belief that the image or video was shared without the depicted person's consent, with relevant context.
- Contact information so we can reply. If acting for someone else, explain your authority.
Do not attach or resend the image. We will act as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request to remove the identified content and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies from our service. We may ask for missing information needed to locate the content or assess a request. You do not need a court order, an account, or a paid membership to request removal. A copyright counter-notice does not override this separate removal process.
Copyright complaints
Email moderation@localbreak.app with Copyright complaint. Identify the copyrighted work and the material you believe infringes it, with enough information to locate the material in Local Break. Include your name, contact information, physical or electronic signature, a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law, and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We review sufficiently detailed complaints and may remove content or restrict repeat infringers. We may need to share the substance of a copyright complaint with the uploader to address it, subject to applicable privacy and safety obligations. If you believe your content was removed by mistake, contact us with the reference and explanation. We will explain any applicable counter-notice procedure; an ordinary moderation appeal is not a statutory counter-notice.
What happens next
We review reports under our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and may request details, remove content, or restrict an account. We do not routinely identify reporters to the reported user, though lawful requests and some rights disputes may require disclosure. Expired or deleted content may be unavailable, so report promptly.
