Wind, tide, sandbars, and swell direction can make nearby breaks surf very differently. We want the forecast to reflect those differences.
Getting the details right
Starting in New Jersey lets us compare forecasts with conditions at the beaches we know. Those observations help us understand what works and what needs improving.
